Soi tells Miaka that she wasn't raped by Nak. She tells her that Tamahome is by the cliff with Tomo and that he is going to die. Miaka heads for the cliffs. Tomo's torture session is interrupted by Amiboshi's flute. Miaka start yelling for Tama, and Tama beats Tomo's ass! Miaka and Tama embrace, and she tells him the good news about her still being a virgin. Amiboshi gets captured by vines and Tama is stabbed by Tomo's feathers!! He falls off the cliff, leaving Miaka with Tomo. Tomo opens one of his clams and Miaka gets caught in his spell.. She grieves for Tama thinking that he is dead and screams.... Suddenly, Miaka finds herself in her classroom beating her teacher with a desk. He yells at her for sleeping in class. Yui, who is in in her class, asks her what kind of dream she was having. Miaka looks back to see a cute guy staring at her : ) Tomo appears and says that he absorbed all of Miaka's memories to create the illusion that she is back in the real world. He looks around the modern Tokyo world and decides to show Nak all of this later... Later, Miaka's teacher tells her she has good grades and she will get into a good high school. Miaka is escatic! Yui and some friends pick up Miaka and they go for walk....when Miaka gets beaned in the head by a soccer ball. That really cute guy, whose name is Aono, runs to see if Miaka is ok. He takes her to the nurse. Aono and Miaka talk about high school and Aono says that he likes Miaka and applied to the same high school as her...he asks her out!! Tomo is watching all this and Amiboshi is pissed!! Tomo explains how Aono is really Tomo's double!!! Miaka, now at home, is having dinner with Keisuke and her mom. They talk about how Miaka is an excellent student, and she thinks about Aono and starts drooling!! In her room, she thinks about Aono some more and she wonders what his first name is. Accidentally, she drops a book on the floor and it opens up to the page that Tamahome's character is on! She feel weird looking at it... Aono is outside her house, so she runs outside to meet him (and trips along the way). He gives her a goodluck pencil for exams, and Miaka says that she will be his girlfriend. They embrace and he says that he loves her. They kiss.... Amiboshi screams out to Miaka to remember Tamahome, and Tomo just cackles. Aono asks Miaka to call him Tomo, and Miaka's just like "Tomo?" Tomo (watching all of this) says that Miaka's body and soul will be trapped in the clam for ever....
