Keisuke, who is saddened by everything, continues reading. The gang, minus Nuriko : (, go into Mt. Black. They get hit with arrows of ice, but everyone is okay. Two figures appear before them. They are Genbu's seishi, Hikitsu and Tomite!!! Miaka tries to convince them to let them have the Shinzaho, but they attack her with ice snakes. Luckily, Tasuki's fire saves the day. Genbu's seishi are skeptical that they are Suzaku sei.......so Tama and Tasuki fight them, or TRY to fight them. Tasuki uses some cool new moves to defeat them, but they don't work. Tama tries to kick Tomite....but passes right through him!!! They are actually spirits and they cannot be defeated. Nakago explains to Yui that his plan is to have Miaka retrieve the Shinzaho.....for Kutou's people are enemies of Hokkan country. Miaka runs up to the seishi and begs them to let them pass. She will do anything.....so they decide to test her to see if she really is a Miko. A barrier is created in front of the seishi that Tasuki's fire cannot penetrate....darn it!! Tomite freezes Miaka and tells her that if she is a Miko she will find a way out of this situation. Tamahome and the seishi watch in horror that she will be killed. Miaka thinks about Nuriko, and the bracelets let off a "heat" that penetrates the ice. Tomite and Hikitsu are astounded by this and release the barrier. Now convinced, they lead Miaka and company to the Shinzaho. Outside, we see Ashitare's hand twitch.....as if he is still alive. They get the Shinzaho and are VERY happy....even the music starts playing in the background!! But Tomite interrupts and says that they can't summon Suzaku with ONLY that. Everyone is sad.....this is a very funny scene though. Chichiri chimes in by saying that Taiisukun told them that they have to go to Hokkan territory FIRST.....Tasuki is pissed that he didn't say this earlier LOL!!!! Miaka and seishi decide to go on to Sairou....where there is ANOTHER Shinzaho that they need to get. Another journey starts.......they say goodbye to Tomite and Hikitsu, whose spirits can now rest knowing that the Shinzaho is in good hands. Those guys were pretty cool : ) As they walk out, they wonder if Suzaku can bring Nuriko back to life.....but Chichiri says that it's impossible. For the soul needs a body....and Nuriko's is no longer suited for living in. Oh well....it was a good suggestion.
