The gang is on the boat, headed for Hokkan. Miaka and her brother, whose name is Keisuke (as we finally learn) can hear each other with her hair as their link. Keisuke decides to research the book. As he is running out of the library, he meets up with his friend Tetsuya. Keisuke tells him about everything that has happened with Miaka. (there is long flashback scene of lots of stuff that has happpened with Yui and Tama and stuff....i just fast forwarded through it) Tetsuya helps research some stuff about the book. They learn that the author killed his daughter and himself...but why? Miaka brings a sleeping Tama his food. She puts the covers on him and he, unknowningly, pulls her down onto him. He suddenly wakes up and Miaka tells him that she isn't putting moves on him or anything. Tama then assures Miaka that he is doing a lot better now. Kei and Tetsuya find out that Miaka will eventually be sacrificed when she summons Suzaku! Keisuke screams for Miaka to come back to the real world or she will be killed. Miaka says she cannot leave and tells Tasuki to burn her hair (a strand of it) and he does, which destroys the link. A sudden storm comes, and Tasuki is thrown overboard. Miaka dives in to save him....then Tama dives in to save HER!!!! Nuriko throws down a rope, and Tasuki climbs up....but the ship takes another wallop then NURIKO is thrown overboard!! Tama, Nuriko, and Miaka drift away. The gang follows them with the ship. Soi, that other Seiryuu seishi we saw before, is the one that has created the storm. The trio gets onto huge rock, but lightining strikes and hits Tama!!
