The episode starts with the figure of a little boy staring into the night sky. He sees that the stars of the Seven seishi are moving in a very unlucky way. Miaka, waking up to a new morning, runs to Tama's room to make sure that he is really there and it wasn't all a dream. She finds him counting his money, and he tells her that she doesn't have to check on him cause he isn't going anywhere. Everyone is now eating breakfast, and Miaka is thinking about what she is going to wish for. Tasuki, still bandaged from his fight with Tamahome, is pissed off. Him and Tama fighting, but it's like a brotherly fight. Nuriko asks Miaka if she can ask Suzaku to turn him into a woman so that he can comfort Hotohori. Miaka starts thinking about Hoto and giving him an answer to his proposal. We all know that she is going to say no. Nakago talks to a sulking Yui, and tells her that their is another Seiryuu seishi that he wants her to meet. Just like Suzaku, they also have 7 seishi to collect. Chiriko plays his flute, and Miaka rushes over wanting to know where Hotohori is. Him and Chichiri are talking in private. Chichiri thinks that the Seiryuu sei are all assembled, but he's not completely sure. But because they are going to summom Suzaku, they don't worry about it and promise not to tell Miaka. Then Hotohori statrs talking about how he loves Miaka blahblahblah (what is soooo special about her anyways?????).......Miaka hears him talking and feels bad. Chichiri leaves and Miaka talks to Hotohori. (there is a very short scene right here that shows that boy that we saw in the beginning on a carriage being taken to Konan) Miaka tells Hotohori that she can't marry him and that she in love with Tamahome and not IN LOVE with him. (of course she doesn't say it bluntly like that) He understands but still loves her anyways and will continue to love her. They embrace. (there is a scene here that shows when he was younger, founding out about what the Miko is and him being a seishi) Miaka leaves to find Tamahome and Hotohori tells one of his servants to prepare for the ceremony. Miaka and Tamahome meet up and talk about what they wish for....it's of course to be with each other forever. (this gets sooooo redundant) Yui meets the Seiryuu sei, Suboshi. He's about 15 years old i think. Yui is all bitchy towards him, but Nakago tells Suboshi that Yui isn't in a very good mood. In Suzaku's shrine, Miaka is talking to the gang about the ceremony when some woman servents take Miaka away to be cleansed and purified. It's a ritual before the summoning ceremony. As she leaves, Tama yells to her that he has something to give her........but Tasuki, now fully healed, comes stomping in. Everyone jokes about how things would be so much peaceful if Tasuki were still in bed..........LOL. Miaka, swimming around in a huge pool, thinks about her 3 wishes. A few minutes later, Tama is walking around wondering where Miaka was taken, but he finds her.........naked.......and bathing under a waterfall sorta thing. They talk, of course with their backs turned to each other, and Tamahome gives Miaka her ribbon back. She gets all happy knowing that he kept the ribbon even though he was mean mean mean. The seishi notice that the mirror has been signaling a character for a while now......they think it must be broken cause they have all the seishi. hmmmmmm...... Chiriko, hiding behind a huge wall, starts writing something on his arm. Suboshi, in Kutou, gets the message that he wrote on HIS arm!!!! It says that the ceremony will start soon. Chiriko isn't Chiriko!!! Chiriko is actually Amiboshi, Suboshi's older twin AND a Seiryuu seishi!!!! This whole time he's been there spying on Miaka and everyone.......how rude!!!!!! Miaka enters in her ceremonial robes, approaching the statue of Suzaku. (another brief scene of the mysterious boy saying that he has to save Miaka and the seishi....for they are in big trouble)
